Founded in 2007 by Kevin Boland during a sabbatical from Hong Kong corporate life to build his dream villa in Phuket, Thailand. Struggling to find modern durable outdoor furniture, he discovered synthetic rattan and fell in love with it.

OHMM was born there and then – from a love of creating inspirational outdoor spaces with high quality comfortable outdoor furniture for people to relax, rejuvenate and to create memorable moments with family and friends under the open skies.

OPENS

After a year of developing products and marketing preparation, we opened our first showroom in Singapore, in an old shophouse along River Valley. We received a very strong retail response as well as encouraging interest from hospitality and condo clients. Very quickly, we were able to upgrade to our current showroom in Riverside Point.

MANUFACTURING
ESTABLISHED​

During the first two start up years, we used a contract outdoor furniture manufacturer but we decided if we were to continue, we would only do this offering world class quality products. To this end, we established our own in-house manufacturing on the island of Cebu, home to the world’s best woven outdoor furniture craftsmen. A little known secret.
