MANUFACTURING

Very early on in our journey we realised we needed to take full control of our manufacturing to get the world class quality outdoor furniture we craved. So we setup OHMM Manufacturing, in Cebu and carry out almost all aspects of our production in-house. This gives us a real advantage over controlling the quality of our designs and products.

And yes, outdoor furniture that is designed to be durable for years under the open skies 24/7 must be made with the best-in-class materials. No cutting corners. It’s what we see, feel and touch. We use German Rehau synthetic rattan and USA Sunbrella outdoor acrylic fabrics and everything in between.

We searched Asia for master woven craftsmen and found them on the island of Cebu. With centuries of passed down ancient rattan weaving know how, the Cebuan weavers help set OHMM’s quality apart with an exceptionally tight and tidy weave. Every piece is simply a work of art.

Then with best-in-class materials coupled with the world’s best woven craftsmen, driven by the desire to make world class outdoor furniture, we have a rigorous Quality Control system with over 15 check points during the creating of each piece of OHMM outdoor furniture. Only when it has passed, and is ready to pack, a unique serialise badge is attached underneath.
